Course Description:

URAC’s Case Management Standard 12.2 requires that managed care organizations provide training to its staff on the URAC Case Management Organizational Standards.  This training session is designed to review the Standards, the accreditation process, and to discuss the Standards as they relate to the provision of case management services by an MCO or other managed care company.  The training session is also designed to help answer questions about the accreditation process.

 

Target Audience:

Managed Care Organizations interested in Accreditation and/or Re-Accreditation from URAC in the new Core Standards and Case Management Standards.

 

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:

Understand the basic requirements for URAC Accreditation as they apply to organizations providing case management services.

 Understand why Accreditation is important for case management organizations.

Understand the seven important categories for MCO’s that the case management organization must address in their policies and procedures.
